The Thuraya Seagull 5000i is a maritime satellite terminal manufactured by Wideye, which provides voice, SMS, data and fax services for reliable connectivity at sea. This terminal enables users to makes calls and send SMS, as well as access data communications for web and email over Thuraya’s satellite network.

The Seagull 5000i is equipped with flexible GPS tracking and monitoring services which enables information such as a ship's identity and position to be transmitted to authorities or response teams in emergencies, which is necessary for Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT). This terminal combines ease of use, varied communications features and affordability to create the ideal solution for small to medium size vessels and yachts.
